The Beaumont city council has censured councilmen Mike Williams and Joey Hillard. The council says William and Hillard violating the city charter by calling for the resignation of Fire Chief Earl White, which is under the umbrella of City Manager Kenneth Wlliams. The censure serves as a public reprimand.
