Miami, FL - A newly released video captures a violent road rage confrontation in Miami that authorities say escalated from a minor traffic accident into a physical attack, ultimately leading to an arrest weeks later.

According to the Miami-Dade Sheriff’s Office arrest report, the incident occurred on October 18 near Southwest 22nd Terrace and 32nd Avenue, close to Coral Way.

Investigators say a traffic collision between two vehicles initially appeared minor, but events quickly escalated after both drivers exited their cars.

Surveillance footage shows a 34-year-old woman allegedly approaching the other driver and engaging in a physical altercation moments after the crash.

Authorities allege the woman struck the victim multiple times with her hands and bit her during the confrontation.

The victim later told investigators she believed the suspect was approaching to exchange information, not to initiate violence.

After the initial altercation, the woman allegedly returned to her vehicle and drove away from the scene.

The arrest report states the victim followed the suspect in an effort to document the license plate and report the crash.

During that pursuit, deputies allege the suspect intentionally turned her vehicle around and struck the victim’s car a second time before fleeing again.

Investigators classified the second collision as deliberate based on witness statements and video evidence.

Sheriff’s deputies identified the woman days later and arrested her on multiple charges, including burglary with assault or battery, attempted aggravated assault with a deadly weapon, and leaving the scene of a crash involving property damage.

Jail records show she was booked into the Turner Guilford Knight Correctional Center and is scheduled to appear in court in early January.

The case remains under review as prosecutors move forward.
