A Monroe County jury has found two men guilty of second-degree murder in the shooting death of 19-year-old Rukia Isaak.
Isaak was shot in August 2024 on Hazelwood Terrace near Denver Street, along with a 15-year-old and a 16-year-old.
Police say Issack was not the intended target. She later died at the hospital, while the two teens who were targeted survived.
Investigators determined that Nasezire Horton and Quentin Riviere opened fire on the group.
Both men were wearing GPS parole monitors at the time of the shooting.
Authorities later found them at a house on Edmonds Street, where they also discovered illegal narcotics.
