An e-bike rider suffered life-threatening injuries after being run over by a truck in Lancaster, Pennsylvania, on Thursday morning (December 18). The incident occurred at 10:38 a.m. on the 100 block of North Lime Street. According to Lancaster city police, the injured cyclist is an adult male.

A dashcam from a nearby trash truck captured the incident. The footage shows both the e-bike rider and a tractor without a trailer stopped at a red light. When the light turned green, both made a right turn, resulting in the cyclist being struck and run over by the truck. The video has been shared online, though portions have been blurred due to its graphic nature.

Authorities have not yet determined who is at fault, and the investigation remains ongoing. Lancaster city police closed the 100 block of North Lime Street and reduced Orange Street to one lane following the accident. The roads were reopened later in the afternoon.

The police are urging anyone with information or additional footage to come forward as they continue their investigation. Updates on the situation will be provided as more information becomes available.
