The Newton Eagles lost to Wall in the Class 3A DII state championship Thursday nighr at AT&T Stadium in Arlington. The Eagles finsihed an outstanding season at 14-2. Friday afternoon the West Orange-Stark Mustangs will play Carthage in the Class 4A DII state championship at AT&T Stadium.
