The Top Pizza Day of the Year Is Coming Up
National Pizza Day isn't until February. But the day you're most likely to CRAVE pizza is less than two weeks out.
The site "Vegas Insider" looked at Google search data to find the top days of the year we crave pizza the most. And NEW YEAR'S DAY is #1.
Everyone's hung over, and no one wants to cook. Plus, it gets a boost from all the drunk people searching for pizza at 2:00 A.M.
The rest of the top pizza days of 2025 fell on a Saturday or Sunday. Those are the top two pizza days in general. We're least likely to crave it on a Tuesday.
The top five pizza days in 2025 were:
1. New Year's Day
2. Super Bowl Sunday
3. February 15th, the day after Valentine's Day
4. March 15th, right before March Madness. The NCAA Tournament hadn't started yet, but a bunch of conference championships were going on.
5. March 29th, during the Elite Eight
They also looked at which states googled "pizza" the most this year. The top five were Delaware, Pennsylvania, Michigan, South Carolina, and Ohio. Montana ranked last.
