Chambersburg police are actively searching for Andre Romulus, a 42-year-old man wanted in connection with a homicide that occurred early Saturday morning (December 20) in Franklin County, Pennsylvania. Officers responded to a call at the unit block of West Washington Street around 2:20 a.m., where they found a woman unresponsive. Despite receiving immediate medical assistance, the woman succumbed to her injuries at the scene. Preliminary investigations revealed that she died from blunt force trauma.

According to the Chambersburg Police Department, Romulus has been identified as the suspect in the assault. He fled the scene and is currently at large, with an active warrant for his arrest on one count of criminal homicide. Police have assured the public that there is no ongoing danger, as the incident was isolated and the victim and suspect were known to each other.

Authorities are urging anyone with information on Romulus' whereabouts to contact the Chambersburg Police Department or submit a tip through Crimewatch. ABC27 News and Local21 News are following this developing story and will provide updates as more information becomes available.
