Firefighters are saying smoke seen from PureSky Energy Solar Farm in Sandwich was just plastic smoldering.
Representatives from PureSky added that the smoke was just due to a sparking event on one piece of machinery.
Firefighters responded to the scene on Cotuit Road on Friday but were not needed.
A company rep said the piece of machinery was disconnected and should be repaired this week.
No one was injured in the incident.
