For the first time in 50+ Yyears, the GRAMMY awards will honor music's best album covers. As well they should. It's a big part of getting your favorite artists new music.
Back in the day, you would get an album and read all the words, study your new find. It was a thing. That's why so many people have gone back to collecting vinyl and CD's over the past few years. Old is new again.
So when was the last time the Grammy's gave out this award? It was 1973, and the Siegel-Schwall Band won for their self-titled album, beating out such iconic album art as Pink Floyd's "Dark Side of the Moon" and David Bowie's "Aladdin Sane."
Some of my favorites are way different like Sum 41 "All Killer, No Filler", Simple Plan "No Pads", Metallica anything, and Chappell Roan just to name a few. But what is your favorite?
