GRAND RAPIDS, Mich. -- Grand Rapids Police Chief Eric Winstrom is a finalist for a job in Florida. The Pensacola Mayor announced candidates for the chief of police job this afternoon. Winstrom was sworn into his role in March 2022.
He says he is asking the community for patience in the next several weeks as he tries to make the best decision for him and his family. Other finalists for the role include the Tampa Police Chief and the acting police chief of Pensacola. Interviews for the roll will take place January 14th.
