A Friday pursuit in Jasper County ended with a motorcyclist jailed. 37 year old George Freerick Park, a Louisiana resident, was operating a no license plates on Highway 96 north of Jasper. The chase reach speeds of more than 130 miles per hour when Parker lost control and sideswiped a Texas Parks and Wildlife vehicle near Pineland. Parker was in possession of methamphetamine and a pistol. He is facing multiple charges.
