Deni Avdija finished with a game-high 27 points and added nine rebounds and 11 assists and Donovan Clingan recorded another double-double with 18 points and 11 rebounds as the Portland Trail Blazers hold off the Dallas Mavericks 125-122 Monday night at Moda Center.

Caleb Love scored 24 points off the bench on 6-of-10 shooting from beyond-the-arc. He led the team with 12 points in the fourth quarter on 4-of-6 shooting.

Max Christie led Dallas with 25 points and Brandon Williams added 22 points and four asissts.

Portland (14-19) led by 13 after the first and by 12 at halftime before Dallas (12-22) used a 20-7 run to tie the game early in the fourth.

The Mavericks took a four-point lead with 3:13 to play but the Blazers were able to close the game on a 12-5 run. A pair of free throws from both Caleb Love and Shaedon Sharpe in the final minute secured the win for Portland.

Klay Thompson missed a three-pointer at the buzzer that would have forced overtime.

Up Next- The Trail Blazers will closeout 2025 Wednesday in Oklahoma City against the Thunder. The game is scheduled to tip off at 5:00 PM.
