A controlled burn in East Drumore Township, Lancaster County, Pennsylvania, spread out of control on Wednesday (December 31), resulting in the destruction of a barn. According to Local21News, workers were demolishing the barn on Cardinal Drive and were burning trash nearby when the fire spread to the structure.
Fortunately, there were no reports of injuries. The barn was already in the process of being dismantled when the fire occurred. Firefighters from the Quarryville Fire Company and other local crews responded to the scene to contain the blaze.
