Moongazers here's some good news about upcoming lunar events:
The first full moon of the year shows up this Saturday. It's called the Wolf Moon, and it's also the last of four consecutive supermoons, when Luna is closest to Earth in its orbit and appears a little bigger and brighter than usual. After that, there's another 12 full moons in 2026, from February's Snow Moon to
December's Cold Moon. There will also be two lunar eclipses this year. The first will also be a total eclipse, the morning of March 3rd here in the U.S.
