Judge Eric Galarneau Begins Second Term in Cohoes

Cohoes City Court Judge Eric Galarneau was sworn in for his second term during a ceremony at Cohoes City Hall on Wednesday (January 1). A native of Cohoes, Judge Galarneau has a distinguished career in law, having previously served as an assistant district attorney with the Albany County District Attorney's Office. In addition to his role as a judge, he also serves as a public defender for Schenectady.

Judge Galarneau's commitment to public service is well recognized in the community. His experience as both a prosecutor and a defender provides him with a well-rounded perspective on the legal system. The ceremony at City Hall marked the beginning of another term where he will continue to oversee cases in Cohoes City Court.

With the support of the local community and his extensive legal background, Judge Galarneau is expected to continue his work in the judicial system, ensuring justice is served in Cohoes.
