Two people have died after they were pulled from the waters off of Martha's Vineyard on Thursday.
First responders were called to Cow Bay at around 11 a.m. for a report of a capsized vessel and people in the water. Crews from the Edgartown,
Tisbury and Oak Bluffs fire departments and the U.S. Coast Guard rescued the victims and they were taken to the hospital.
Yesterday evening, Cape and Islands District Attorney Robert Galibois announced that both victims passed away.
He says the preliminary investigation does not suggest foul play and it appears that the weather played a role in the tragedy.
Massachusetts State police are leading the investigation into the incident.
