Gov. Jeff Landry says deposed Venezuelan dictator Nicolas Maduro should be executed or imprisoned at Angola.
Landry published an opinion piece on Breitbart News that praised last weekend's raid ordered by President Donald Trump.
American forces captured Maduro and his wife and took them to New York to stand trial for drug trafficking and other federal charges.
Landry says taking Maduro out of action will curb fentanyl trafficking and boost Louisiana's economy.
The governor says Maduro should be executed, but locking him and his wife up in Angola forever would also be satisfactory.
