One year ago today, the Palisades and Eaton fires forever changed the lives of so many of our friends and neighbors. Homes, businesses, memories â gone in an instant. And yet, what rose from that devastation was something just as powerful: the heart of Los Angeles.
Today, we pause to send love to everyone who lost so much. We honor the grief that still lingers and the strength it takes to rebuild. We give thanks for the countless Angelenos who showed up with open hands, open homes, and open hearts â proving once again that community is our greatest strength.
And to our first responders â firefighters, paramedics, law enforcement, and support crews â we offer our deepest, eternal gratitude. You ran toward danger, then and now, to protect lives you may never meet. We will never forget that courage.
Los Angeles, we remember.
We stand together.
And we keep loving louder than the flames ever burned.
