Okay, quick emoji news because this made me weirdly excited… a new batch of emojis is coming, and yes, one of them is a pickle.
The draft list includes nine new emojis, like a squinty face that perfectly captures side-eye energy, some new thumb gestures, a butterfly, a lighthouse, and eraser, a lighthouse and even a meteor. All of these very random but also very usable.
They’re still in the approval phase, so we won’t actually see them on our phones until late 2026 or early 2027, once Apple and Android roll them out.
