…25th Anniversary Week: Gary Granger
Wherever you are things change in your world. We work, grow, learn and experience life. Hopefully, all of it teaches us something, else we’re not paying attention.
Some lessons are harder to learn or just aren’t as clear. Even when they appear to be cut and dried, some folks will try and convince you they are not. The courts then come into play to settle the disputes.
Transitions and the courts are heavy in today’s show rotation. We’ll begin in Louisville where one case seems to make a Miami case now moot. The Olympics has come out with what should have been an unnecessary policy putting males and females in their proper places.
We’ll go to Pennsylvania where a resolution died in the House because it made clear the definition of woman. In another case, the Supreme Court has handed internet providers a key ruling. They are not responsible for users’ infringement of copyrights. Now, let’s apply that to other product misuse by the end user and put the responsibility where it goes.
As we wrap up anniversary week on the show, I have gone through transitions myself over that period of time. From the Start at WMEL to WMMB.From WMMB to KFIV & KWSX in Modesto, CA and then back to the Space Coast. A big part of those transitions was radio pro Gary Granger. Gary was our General Sales manager when I came to WMMB. He was the General Manage who hired me in Modesto.More than hiring me, he gave me a ton of radio education that only comes from time and success in the business.Gary joins us to close out the week on WMMB.
Let’s get to the day…
