Woman's Day offers these uses for cinnamon to spice up your life:

Give your hair a boost: Mix a fourth cup each of cinnamon and honey, apply to the scalp for 15 minutes, and rinse. Cinnamon increases blood flow and could stimulate hair growth.

Make a moth repellent: Combine 2 tablespoons of cinnamon with a half cup each black peppercorns and whole cloves, then pour into sachet bags for closets and drawers.

Soothe athlete's foot: Cinnamon is an antimicrobial. Boil 10 sticks of cinnamon in 4 cups of water and let cool. Soak feet for 20 minutes and dry completely.

Perk up your commute: Use a cinnamon-scented air freshener in your car, research has found that the smell decreases anxiety and improves alertness while driving.

Hide scuffs: Use a cotton swab to rub ground cinnamon into scratch marks on wooden floors and furniture.
