Islands.com recognized Savannah's investment in the downtown area. They noted the Hostess City's thriving bar scene too, highlighting the fact that Savannah allows open containers.
Savannah is in very good company on the Islands.com list. Other cities highlighted were Newark, New Jersey, Asheville, North Carolina, and Richmond, Virginia.
