NANTUCKET, Mass. (WBZ NewsRadio) — President Joe Biden will spend Thanksgiving on Nantucket, continuing a Biden family tradition.
Biden and his family have been coming to the Massachusetts island for the Thanksgiving holidays since the mid-1970s, according to the Associated Press. Last year they stayed at the house of billionaire David Rubenstein, but this year it’s unknown where they’re staying.
He was set to touch down at the Nantucket Memorial Airport at 3:20 p.m. on Tuesday.
Biden often frequents shops and restaurants on the island with his family.
This comes just one week after the Boston Celtics were welcomed by Biden at the White House to celebrate their most recent NBA championship.
