BOSTON (WBZ NewsRadio) — Tatiana Schlossberg, granddaughter of former President John F. Kennedy and environmental author and journalist with the JFK Library Foundation, has died of a rare form of leukemia.
The JFK Library Foundation announced Schlossberg's passing via social media on Tuesday:
"Our beautiful Tatiana passed away this morning. She will always be in our hearts.
George, Edwin and Josephine Moran
Ed, Caroline, Jack, Rose and Rory"
Schlossberg had announced in November that she was diagnosed with a rare blood cancer known as acute myeloid leukemia. She was given about a year to live.
Tatiana Schlossberg is the daughter of Caroline Kennedy.
