BOSTON (WBZ NewsRadio) — Team USA announced their rosters for the Olympic and Paralympic hockey teams competing in the 2026 Winter Games in Italy, and a lot of the players may look familiar to Massachusetts and New Hampshire fans.
Goaltender Jeremy Swayman and defenseman Charlie McAvoy were both chosen as the two representatives of the Bruins, and both are making their Olympic debut.
Forward Matt Boldy of the Minnesota Wild, as well as center Jack Eichel and defenseman Noah Hanifin of the Vegas Golden Knights, all come from Millis, North Chelmsford and Norwood respectively.

For the women’s team, Forward Alex Carpenter of the Professional Woman’s Hockey League (PWHL)’s Seattle Torrent and defenseman Caroline Harvey for the University of Wisconsin come from North Reading and Salem, New Hampshire respectively.
As for the Paralympic sled hockey team, defenseman David Eustance and goaltender Griffin LaMarre are from Stoneham and Haverhill respectively
