Alright, so our favorite superhero king did not walk away with the top prize of Best Picture....that went to The Green Book. However, Black Panther did make out pretty well last night with these wins:
Best Production Design
Best Original Score
Best Costume Design
This is a huge win for Marvel Studios (their first Oscar wins) and the fact that Black Panther was nominated for Best Picture was a win for the entire superhero genre.
Plus, we got Trevor Noah to introduce the movie. Whether you like him or hate him, he did a good job last night.
So congrats to Black Panther and Marvel Studios. Wakanda Forever!!
