Join The Snyder-Watch

If you had plans to catch the debut of Zack Snyder's Justice League this Thursday, why not do that with the man himself? HBO Max and Scener, a watch-party platform, have teamed up for a few fans to join the director as everyone gathers around to watch the 4-hour six-part film.

You can sign up at Snydercut.scener.com to get your "seat"...but do it fast! The event starts Thursday, March 18th at 4 p.m. PDT, which is 7 p.m. on those in the EDT time zone. The catch? You need to have your own HBO Max account. So yeah, get on that!

Keeping The Snyder Universe...In-Universe

When the first teaser for "The Snyder Cut" of Justice League was announced we saw a few surprises. One of them was Barry Allen using his superspeed to save Keirsey Clemon's Iris West. Although she was cast to portray the love of Barry's life for the film, all of her scenes were cut from the version that was eventually released under Joss Wheaton. Now that she will be back in canon with the release of the Snyder Cut and with a solo Flash movie on the horizon it was announced that she will be reprising the role in 2022.

Thus, the Powerpuff Girls Were Born!

In this case, cast! A few weeks ago the CW greenlit a Powerpuff Girl live-action pilot, potentially kicking off a show that will explore the lives of the Powerpuff Girls post-crime fighting years and living a "regular" life in their twenties. Here they are...

  • Chloe Bennet (Marvel's Agents of S.H.I.E.L.D.) is Blossom. Out of three Utonium children, she will have many advanced academic degrees to show off but has post-superhero trauma to deal with in her adult life.
  • Dove Cameron (Liv & Maddie, Disney's The Descendant's) as Bubbles. Fans know her as the shyest of the three but Bubbles grows up to be very tough and witty. She is also looking to reclaim her former superhero fame. Just without BEING an actual superhero.
  • Yana Perrault (Hamilton) as Buttercup. The toughest of the toughest. This version of Buttercup hates the superhero limelight and struggles to escape those days by secluding herself from society.

Craig McCracken, the original creator of the show that we all knew and loved on Cartoon Network is not attached to this project on CW but has given his approval of the casting choices. The series will be produced by Warner Bros Television Studios, which is in league with Cartoon Network due to the fact that Warner Bros owns both. Let's hope that means this live-action show has the rights to the original theme song. If not, then that's one big bottle of Chemical X.

Duckcast Woo-oo!

Ducktales is....sadly ending on Monday, March 15 with a 90 min episode (really, the last 3 episodes all in one night.) However, the show lives on in another life...kind of. Danny Pudi, the voice of Huey, is setting up a podcast as the red-clothed duck and chatting with the people of Duckburg. Yes, this is 100% real and the teaser is great. Take a listen.

and here is not one, but two clips from the finale to get excited. Notice some former friends and some NEW ones.
