Ready for the weekend? Zemo is.....
Alright, let's geek out!
Ready For The Holidays?
A classic Batman series is finally getting the animated treatment. This past Tuesday, we were given the first full length trailer for Batman: The Long Halloween, Part 1. This story is set during the early days of the Dark Knights crusade of protecting Gotham and has teamed up with newly elected District Attorney Harvey Dent to fight the big crime families in Gotham.
This animated film is also the last performance from the late Naya Rivera who voices Selena Kyle/Catwoman.
Part 1 is set to be released on digital and Blu-ray on June 22, 2021.
Time For Loki
Don't cancel your Disney+ subscription yet...or ever. Even though Marvel's Falcon and Winter Soldier is still streaming with new episodes every Friday, it seems Disney is always ready for what's next. In this new trailer for Loki we get a better idea of where the story takes place and why he is needed by the TVA...or the Time Variance Authority.
By Jupiter!
Netflix is stepping up it's "we need more superhero shows" game. Coming to the streaming giant is a series from Mark Miller (Kick-Ass and Kingsman: The Secret Service comics) called Jupiter's Legacy, a comic series from Image Comics that debuted back in 2013.
The series is heavily influenced by Star Wars, King Kong, the Golden Age of comic books (1938-1956) from both DC and Marvel, and Roman Mythology. With a mix like that, there's something for everyone!
The series will have a total of 8 episodes that will hit Netflix on Friday, May 7th.
Here To Save The Day
A few weeks ago, Chloe Bennett, Dove Cameron, and Yana Perrault were announced to portray the older versions of Blossom, Butters, and Buttercup for the live-action Powerpuff Girls series, now called Powerpuff, that was green lite for CW. This past Wednesday, TMZ was able to get a first look at the actors in the classic retro look while on set.
Warning: you'll feel nostalgic.
