A New Boy Is In Town
Season 3 of Amazon's The Boy's hasn't been released yet, HOWEVER, we have a look at Jensen Ackles (Supernatural & Batman: The Long Halloween) as Soldier Boy, one of the first people to successfully get super abilities from Compound V. Now, that was back in during the Second World War and like Storm Front, it appears that the compound doesn't age people as fast as those without the compound running through their veins. With that logic, we could see him interact with the present-day cast as well as flashbacks.
Oh, is it just me or does Mr. Ackles look....uncomfortable?
Hey Batwing, Want A Ride In the Batwing?
I can't take credit for that line. In the 2016 DC Animated Movie, Batman: Bad Blood, Luke Fox (voiced by Gaius Charles), who is Batwing is introduced to the Batfamily. While flying into the final battle of the movie's plot, Batwoman (voiced by Yvonne Strahovski), says the line. It's obvious but hey, we're all thinking it!
In the CW series Batwoman, Luke Cage, portrayed by Camrus Johnson, is going to be suiting up as the first live-action Batwing, and here is his first look!
Yeah, the blue bat logo makes it look like Nightwing's suit in a way...I'm sure they will address that in the series.
And yes, he did write for Batwing in the comics! So head out to your local comic book shop and grab Batman: Urban Legends #4.
Meep-Meep
The next tune-filled Space Jam stars LeBron James as himself and plays alongside Bugs Bunny, Lola Bunny, Daffy Duck, Porky Pig, and Tweety. Oh, and it seems Wild E. Coyote and the Roadrunner have some fun as well.
Space Jam: A New Legacy arrives this July in theaters and on HBO Max.
To The Seas!
On Friday, Director James Wan slipped the official title for the Aquaman sequel. King Arthur/Aquaman (Jason Mamoa) and Princess Mere (Amber Heard) are returning in Aquaman and the Lost Kingdom.
I honestly thought it was going to be called Aquaman and the Seven Seas.
The proposed storyline for this film is said to fall in line with Zack Snyder's version of the DCEU. Now that Warner Bros. and DC have a new parent company, perhaps the Snyderverse is coming!
Aquaman and the Lost Kingdom washes up in theaters on December 18, 2022.
